ammeter gauge
I have a 1969 f-250 camper special with a 360 in it and the ammeter gauge on the dash does not work. I have been told that there is a fusable link that goes to the gauge that probably is the problem the problem I am having is finding the fusable link. Where is it located in the truck and what color might the wire be for this. Any help would be great.

Hi J.C. I don't think there is a fusable link for the gauge. The ammeter, even if 100% working will barely move. I would install a voltmeter gauge. You will then know if your voltage regulator is working ok. It will show problems that a ammeter won't.

The gauge doesn't move at all and I have replaced the voltage regulator for some reason I was thinking there was a fuseable link somewhere in line with the gauge Thanks for the response
