After reading up on aftermarket intake options, I came to a conclusion to listen to many people by wrapping the stock unit (which seems to be a great unit to begin with from the factory) with the DEI header thermal wrap. I got it at Advance Auto for $45 and will take the intake apart so that I can clean it, wrap it, and zip tie the ends so that it can give it a clean look. To add to this, I also removed the "intake silencer" ( I have a 4.6) and dropped in a K&N air filter. Hope to see some noticeable gains.
