I was looking into getting the full set of bushings (body and susp.) from Prothane for my truck and was wondering if anyone has ever done all the bushings at once? I have already had to replace my axle pivot bushing so i know that will be ok
ive done the suspension front and rear with energy suspension bushings. never done the cab mounts.
only thing i can recommend is a little bottle torch and heat the inner sleeve the little one until the black rubber around it starts coming out. once it does this push it out with a socket or something. the inner sleeve and rubber should come all at once. then i just sawzalled the outer sleeve and air chiseled it out. the 2 problems i had. re aligning the rear axle by ones self trying to get a bolt in the hole is a pain. but can be done i know.
another is before you order confirm what kind of rear shackles you have. 2 different kinds for our trucks. maybe even go to the dealer to get proper nomeclature on it. i guessed and got the wrong ones. so i had to modify the shackle to hanger mount bushings. it can be done also. i know.
i am sure the cab mounts arent hard just a real pita.
good luck
btw i took all the leafs off. i believe it to be much easier that way.
buy some loctite.

I did the shackle/spring eye bushings about a month ago, what a PIA! Found the easiest way to remove the inner sleeve was to use a ball joint press (C clamp style) and a bolt. To get the outer casing out of the spring eye was the biggest headache, a hydraulic press, socket and elbow grease made it easier but still a hassle. Haven't done the cab mounts yet though, maybe one of next years project.
