I have heard that the bump stops were shortened in 03. I have an early 03 and was wondering if this is true and if it changed at beginning of the model year or in the middle like some other options. If someone has pictures of pre 03 or aft 03 bump stops that would be nice. Mine are like a dark red or purple in color and cone shaped.

Thanks,
My X was built October 15, 2002, and had the new bump stops.
K Thanks that was quick! Brings me to my next question with the timbrens. Late last week i installed rancho 9000's and rear sway bar. On a single bump my truck rides great, drive on a bumpy road and the front ends seems to bounce way to much( seems to be a little better with the rancho's). Thinkin maybe it was hitting off the bump stops a lot, if so does the timbrens help or is it tied into the rear end making the front bounce to much. Im still messin with the rancho settings(and yes i put the rancho's at all four corners).

Now you've done it. Get out every tool that you own and take out a 2nd mortgage on your house, because you are going to get a lot of "advice" on how to fix that problem.
