that would be one helluva setup with gloss black tubes, dark gray or black compressor manifold (mine is blasted silver, no gold tarnish) and dark blue hump hoses and SS CT clamps. as a matter of fact, i think i'ma do that!
Thanks for the comments guys!! Id' like to see yours once u get them painted.
Wasn't sure of best color to use. Figured the high gloss black matched the grease/grime.

i had a small vile of that touchup paint for cars that i got at autozone a while ago, this gave me the motivation to go out and paint some things. like a member did here a while ago (forget his name) i painted the Powerstroke on the HPOP cover, and the FORD logo on the black rubber seperator/tool holder in front of the hood latch. i also sanded down the oil filler cap so the logo was removed, and painted that the same color. it looks nice although it has a few fingerprints on it from me being to anxious to get inside and i put it back on semi-dry. i put a "7.3" in the brushstrokes on top of the cap once it was all smoothed out. now for painting those pipes and that manifold. im thinking electric blue or deep gray to match the paint.
The wire wheel is the key to clean-up, thanks gents. But as I finished, I realized how good they would look polished. So began a PMS ridden afternoon of turning my IC pipes on a buffing wheel...... pics to follow when I get it all put back together.....
