...but wondering if someone here might know. Bought a DP 6 position chip and absolutely love it. Now at the time of getting my chip set-up - I let Jody know that I had a sonnax valve and springs - but had not installed it yet (still have not installed it). So the chip was programmed with that in mind.
Since then - I've been reading a lot of great things about the BTS valve body - and how many people have switched from the sonnax kit to the BTS valve body and like it much better.
So if I decide to go the BTS valve body route instead - think the chip needs to be reprogrammed to accommodate it - or should it be fine as is? Thanks in advance...
Yep - you will definitely want to get the chip changed to go with the BTS valve body! That's the only reason I saved up and got both at the same time - to avoid having to send my chip back for changes after the VB install.
When I talked with him a week ago he said it would make a difference if I installed the Sonnax kit (which is sitting in my garage) versus the BTS valve body I ordered 5 minutes after talking with Jody! Definitely give him a call. Not tomention Brian at BTS will want to know how to make the VB based on what Jody tells you.
