AFE stage II intake
Just bought and installed it today. Took it for a test drive. I'm running a superchips flashpaq 1805, silverline dual catback (waiting to install my powder coated stacks from Black Cloud Diesel) and now the AFE stage II. Also have a 2" leveling kit with 35" tires.
Here's my 40 minute test drive eval. Don't spend your money. It might be a little quicker but not by much. Not enough to fork over $400 anyway. I don't hear (oddly enough) any increase in turbo whine (actually less). But I do hear my exhaust more (I like that). Granted, intake systems (generally) are for the upper rpm band but even in the upper band there isn't much noticeable improvement.
Doesn't seem to spool any quicker. No codes thrown. Not too much of a pain to install.
