fuel adjustment screw

hello i have a 94 f350 4x4 7.3 idi factory turbo 3 inch body lift 35 inch buckshots 170000 miles im in the process of making it run like a diesel should i installed my boost and pyro gauges my boost is hooked up where the wastegate well i guess it is what that is hooked up so i have no waste gate now anyways i was making 9 psi in 3rd reved way up my pyro is on the pass mainfold on the back side drilled and tapped now 1250 i s the max i want to go right?? well i have the outlet housing and downpipe ordered so the will be here mon i hope i will go from the down pipe to dual 5 inch stacks now for the fuel i just turned it up i would say 1 1/2 flats 2 at the most before i turned it up it was sick no smoke no power etc i was going to go 3 flats but it wouldnt it is like it bottomed out after i got it that far it rounded 2 5/32 wrecches out craftman ones could of it bottomed out?? it runs awesome now moderate smoke 12 psi boost and i wasnt even running it that hard ill drive it and see wht the egts do well guys i apreciate all the help

chris, 1250 is actually a little more than you should go.
1250 is where damage may occur as the pistons start to melt, turbo damage may start at 1270.

I keep mine under 1200 at all times.
I usually start backing out when it starts over 1100.

Boost, 12 is a good number, just watch you don't overboost at high RPM's.

I thought that turning the pump up just one flat was usually more than sufficent?

Usually one flat is more than enough, but pumps do get weak over time. Also injectors get weak.
I personally don't actually like to bottom out the fuel screw either, but I have never had a pump that did not put out more than enough fuel before it got to the bottom.

OK, since you twisted my arm....
Yes, it is a dump bed also, but the tool boxes and stacks don't move when I dump..

Well it was raining, so the fields were a little soft.
I guess you can also see why I have limited slip in both axles, did a body lift and only run mud tires on my truck.
