Thanks to the FAQ and search functions!
Just wanted to write and say thank you to everyone who has posted their knowledge about Ford Trucks on this forum.
Had a CEL and took it to AutoZone they read the code as P0401. After doing a search and some reading I figured I could tackle this project. Went back and got a new EGR valve and some Throttle body cleaner and went to work. I removed the TB and sure enough the two ports were clogged solid with carbon. I used several different tools(used loosely) a coat hanger and drill bits to clean the ports. Replaced everything and 150 miles later no CEL.
Two hours and a little elbow grease and it runs like a new truck. The only mistake was I didn't take any pictures to show how easy it was to complete. Thanks everyone

Glad to hear that... of course, time will tell if that was the only cause of the CEL.
I actually wish more people would read the FAQs or do more searching... it's not uncommon to see the same question asked by two or more people in different threads with the same date and a few hours apart.... and the answer was as simple as a search or reading the FAQs.
I guess it gives Dave (racerguy) something to do.
