I posted about a clicking noise from under the my dash the other night. I have narrowed it down to the turn signal relay. It is always clicking but stops when I use the turn signal or step on the brakes. My turn/brake lights are working fine and they flash normal. I changed the flasher relay with a new one but the problem is still there. It also seems that the clicking is worst in the morning or after the truck sits for a while.
Has anyone heard of this problem? It is really driving me crazy. Any help or advice would be great.
Thanks, Mike

I have seen this many times on the F super duty trucks but not on the F150. When it happens on the super duty the problem is a poor ground internal on the multifunction switch. Since you already replaced the flasher I would check the multifunction switch. Try switching from 4way flasher on and off about 10 times and lock it down. Then try the flasher and see if it quits at least temporarily. That would be a good indication that the switch needs replaced.
I had a similar problem, but i had a problem with most of my electronics...my windsheild had a leak on the bottom, letting water get in and drip onto a modual under the dash...i took it to the dealer, and they said it is a common problem...they dried out the modual and it has never happened again..hope u figure out ur prob...
You can "loosen" the fuse panel enough to see behind it. Check for a water line or moisture itself. If so, that would be you prob. If not then go to the MF switch. These trucks in certain years were known for leaking windshields and water would get to the back or the fuse panel and cause all sorts of wierd issues.
