PIP code help

Anyone had to fix a PIP code? 91 ranger 2.3? (8 plugs), 2wd starts and then acts like it's out of gas and dies and will not start for a while. Fuel filter & pump good, I guess it's something to do with spout circuit??

PIP Code

Check your fuel relay. It could be bad. The truck will start and run fine and then when the relay heats up, it will start to short out thus causing the missing or complete shut off of the motor.

Had a similiar problem w/an E-250, same code. When it won't start check for spark, if none, look to the ignition module. Mine tested good at the auto parts store but was nonetheless defective. Good luck.
