The latch is an easy pick in the boneyard.
The hinges...good luck with them. When I was in my scuffle with a mailbox and my hinges got bent, we bought new ones from the dealership (which looked bulkier than my stock ones anyways), but couldn't figure a way to get the old ones out. I don't know if they are welded in or what, nobody on here knew either (that's how I found FTE).
I ended up standing in the engine compartment, and with a combination of a sledge hammer, huge set of channel locks, and my bare hands, bent it close to back to normal.
What I didn't get matched perfectly, we mounted the hood on then shoved it into place. Worked great.
