I've searched and search but have yet to find anything on the installation of an Industrial Chassis (IC) Dakota IFS install. Their web site have said an installation prestation is coming for about two years now. I've e-mailed the company with no reply. I know there was an artical in either Classic Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks (same same) in the past but I can't locate it. I have an uninstalled IC Dakota cross member with an junk yard clip to sell but want the info (install pics) to help answer any questions. Any ideas?
brucelee,
Steve at Industrial Chassis has been pretty busy lately. He WILL help with the install. Try this email address to make sure you have the right one:
1. PJS55 has fully indexed both CT and CCT, so if you get ahold of him, he can probably tell which issue has the article you seek, then a plea in here might get you a photocopy of the article from someone that has the issue in question.
2. Do a search in here on "Dakota" and see what it turns up. There were a few guys in here that went that route, so they should be able to help you out as well.......
AZA, you need to put an email addy in a non-standard form in a post to fool the spambots, such as "myname(at)domain(dot)com" or "my name @ domain . com remove spaces" if you don't want it removed.
Thanks all. Steve Szymanski has sent me pictures. For those considering an IFS I will say the quality of Steves work is great. If I wasn't selling my 54 I would install the Dakota IFS. As of now it's keep the 56 with the Volara.
