Help Repainting Brushguard
I have a 2000 Excursion with a Ranch Hand Brushguard. It needs to be refurbished and i want to spray it with Rhino liner. How do i need to prep the metal? sand blast it down to bare metal or just scuff it up with sandpaper? any suggestions.

I had a set of tube steps on a Toyota PU a long time ago. I lived in MA and the salt was horrific! I had to sandblast mine within 1 yrs time. They were like brand new when finished. The reason for sand blasting is to remove all loose of flaking paint or powdercoat. If you don't do it and water has gotten behind it then it could possibly peel your spray right off.
