Gearing Up
I need to know something?
I have a '69 ford f-100 custom cab 2wd.
I would like to go from the t-18 warner four speed to a higher geared 5 speed. I have a '72 302 in it, a step and a half up from mild.
Is there any tranny from a different model ford or aftermarket place that would be able to bolt up to this and be able to handle any stress if I have to put some poor chevy down or even worse those damn bumblbee hondas that like to show off?
I understand that I will most likely have to modify the tranny mounts and have a custom driveline put in to fit, but thats what I expect.
