Car 5 got added for same reason as you, gas prices. I made it my primary driver. I actually do drive all of 'em, though the RV doesn't get driven often, but all of them are tagged, titled and insured. It's not bad when they are older! But it'll be even better when YOU are older!
I'm finally down to five registered and insured motor vehicles (not counting my camper and utility trailers). I have full coverage on my 04 F150 4X4, 01 Escape 4X4 and 62 Fairlane 500 as well as Liability and comp on the 98 Town car and liability only on my 86 BMW motorcycle. My insurance is under $1,000 per year including full coverage on my 04 travel trailer. Getting older, living in a low insurance state and careful driving with a good credit rating makes a hugh difference with insurance rates.

I have a Jeep Wrangler and an Acura TL. Trading them both in within the year for a 2007 F-150. I can't wait.

A buddy of mine also has two card. One is an old camero he never drives and the other is a silverado.
