fluidampr?

what is a fluidampr? I noticed alot of people have this on their trucks.

It replaces your stock harmonic balancer on the crank.

It is a viscous fluid filled vibration damper, as opposed to a cast iron/elastomer that isn't really effective at dampening the harmonic vibrations at all engine speeds. I have used them forever on small and big block Chevrolet engines, and really seem to slow or eliminate bearing wear on hi perf or hard run engines.
