Rock Rails...
Does anyone have a pair of rock rails on their Explorer? Did you build them or buy them? I'm looking to replace my stock step/nerf bars with something that fits a little more closely to the truck. The step bar as it is is so far out from the truck getting in and out is a bit of challenge from my 'chair. When I'm getting in and out my 'chair is right up against the step bar. If I didn't have them my rocker panels and door sill would be dinged and dented in no time and then corrosion would become an issue. I have a '99 Sport.
I'm looking for plans, pictures, advice etc. This could possibly be a DIY job as my neighbour is welder.
