Groaning Clutch
67 Camper Special, 4 spd
When I use my clutch, it elicits a kind of groaning sound from the pedal mechanism. I was in there a couple of weeks ago when I had the instrument cluster out but I didn't see anyplace to lubricate the mechanism. Do I need to replace bushings or what? Thanks.

Groaning Clutch
There probably were "u" shaped insulators on the ends of the springs and have worn out and fell out over time. Try some lithium grease on them. Oil is too thin and will evaporate quickly.
