Smile Gained 2 mpg....

Last weekend I changed the tranny fluid and filter on my wife's 1996 F150 302 auto. Wish they put a drain plug in them. A cat litter pan worked to catch the fluid. I then changed the engine oil and filter. Each spring I put in a jug of Dura Lube to reduce friction in the Texas summer heat. I then put a pint of Chemtool B12 in the gas tank. Truck acts like it is brand new and picked up a solid 2 mpg in overall driving. Wife is happy. Her truck has 112000 miles on it and I have done all the maintenance since new......chris3

Milage went from 15.5.........

to 17.5 and has remained so. I haven't been driving my truck, a 95 I6, to see how that milage is because I save over 3 bucks a day in gas riding my motorcycle to work......chris3
