Gearshift lever
I have a 2000 F250 with the auto. transmission that has alot of play in the gearshift lever. Sometimes if it is not in gear all the way it will start rolling, and its so bad I can't shift into 1st at all. Is there a way to adjust this at the lever on the side of the transmission or do I need to replace a part.

I suspect your shifter linkage and/or a braket is damaged/bent. Crawl under the truck and you will see the linkage on the drivers side of the tranny. To get a better idea you could chalk your wheels so the truck won't move, have a friend get in shift it so you can watch the linkage to see if it binds. I've had a few friends who break their shifter linkage on auto trannies, usually when the body rocks alot on bumps, hills, etc.
