Steering noise

There is a TSB on this, but i am unsure if this is what i have or not. If you have your wheels straight, and you turn them to the left to lock, there is a funny noise/vibration that happens once per revolution of the steering wheel, and it only does it for about 2 revs, then diminishes. I have felt the column while turning, and you cant really feel it there, so it must be outside the truck. I have lubes the little rubber grommet that the shaft goes thru in the firewall, so i dont think its that. It also doesnt do it first thing in the morning, you have to drive it a little.

What else can this be? How can i pinpoint its origin? You can feel it in the springs, tie rod, wheels, etc...so its hard to pinpoint. Can this be the steering box somehow?

I've rarely heard noise from the steering box, always from the pump. Get a friend or the WIFE to help track it down while you play w/ the wheel.
