econoline rear door latch
I have a 1994 econoline. The rear door latch is not working from the outside handle, but is from the inside. It looks like removing the license plate holder, by removing the four screws from the inside, will allow acess to the mechinism so that it can be adjusted or replaced. Is this right? The van is refridgerated so I will have to dig out a bunch of insulation to do this, and I want to be sure I'm going in the right direction before I do.
