2002 DVD/Entertainment system

I have a 2002 X limited with rear entertainment center DVD. It has a headphone(hardwired only) jack set and control in the rear of the front center console. The DVD reader went out on the factory unit. So I bought a DVD out of a 2003 Expedition because it was cheaper than having mine fixed and it has the IR tranmitters for wireless headphones. The harness plugs are different. Does anyone know where I can find either a harness adapter or the plugs to build one and/or the DVD system wiring diagrams for both systems. Or any other suggestions that would be relavent and helpful. I do not want to go to aftermarket DVD so the factory controls on the steering wheel and dash would still work.

HELP, the kids are driving me crazy!

You'll find all the know-how, help, and anything else you could need regarding your X and then some....

Please take the time to read the guidelines here. They're basically the do's and don'ts of this forum.

Onto business:

Sounds like you're in a tough spot. I don't know much about these, but some of the others should be along in a bit to help.

Take care and see you on the boards!

No, my 2002 X does not have wireless headphones. The 2003 Expedition DVD player does. I bought the whole DVD overhead console with the IR wireless transmitters for the wireless headphones. I already have the wireless headphone also. The DVD player is the same, but the harness (factory wiring) plugs are different. So I need a way(adaptor plug) or a wiring diagram in order to use the Expedition DVD in my X.
