Ben, You can go to your favorite parts house and buy a new set. There is a slide on clip that holds them in place. Easy swap.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
Go to the junkyard and pay 20 bucks for a full set of matched door locks and ignition. Also, if you're lucky it will have the locking glove box latch too.
on my 68 the only way to lock the doors is with the key, it's nice because I cant lock my keys in the truck you may need to lube the lock some but it should be the ignition key
Do you have a key to the ignition that works? If so, have you tried that to open the door? Unless the ignition or the door locks have been changed (very possible in 34 years) then it should work to open them. Good luck.
you may need to lube the lock too or find one side of the key that works better than the other and have a new key made from it with both sides based on the good side and if that doesn't work perhaps get a blank and make one...
I got a door set from Schucks (Kragen) for $12 - They also sell an ignition set thats matched to the door. I don't mind two diff. keys.
