I saw a 99 f-250 toady and it had blocks that looked like huge hocky pucks un the front suspension. he said it is for plowing. It keeps the front of the truck from dropping when you put the plow on and when you are plowing. I need them in my truck. any one know what they are called or where i could find them. Thanks Dan
no no no! no blocks for the front end! it throws off steering geometry, and it is extremely dangerous because of the side loads that the leaf springs see. the turning axle on any vehicle should NEVER have springs. it would be too easy to turn too hard and make enough force to dislodge a block and have a real big problem. stick to a leveling kit (which i have, check my gallery) or add-a-leaves. a leveling kit will most always not increase load capacity, but will keep ride smooth. add-a-leaves will increase capacity while increasing the harshness of ride factor too...
Before you bite the poor guy's head off. I believe he is talking about the Timbren SES system that be250 mentioned. It doesn't go under the springs, it goes above them between the frame and the top of the spring. Here's the website-->http://www.timbren.com/
