Installed new rotors - powerslots, and ceramic pads on my 2004 Ex, (26,000 miles). After all put back together & tested over last two days it seems to pull to the left when braking. I did not bleed the brakes, just unbolted caliper & loaded in new pads and reinstalled. Any ideas what to check?
Also noticed front two tires show weird wear pattern. On each tire, individual lugs are worn higher or lower than lug next to, behind or in front of. Rear tires are smooth as normal. I bot this Ex with 17,000 miles and have not rotated the tires. BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A. Alignment seems fine. Thanks, Dave

Hey, I have the same issue with my Ex now. I too just did a complete brake job, and the damn thing has a slight pull to the left now. I am thinking that the right caliper may be hanging up a bit now. I am going to take it off, open up the bleeder, and push the pistons in again to see if they are moving freely. Also, I will bleed the brakes too. If not, I guess I will get a new caliper for that side.
As for your tires, it looks like the previous owner never rotated them. The fronts will wear like that if they are not rotated to the back. I rotate mine every other oil change (about 6k miles).
I may go ahead and bleed them, But that shouldn't do anything as I did not open up system. Standard brake fluid or special? I guess I'll rotate tires, mayt stop by dealer for quick look.
The wear you are seeing on the tires is due to alignment. Have it checked. With that description of tire wear. Very possible that a ball joint may be going bad.
I had the same thing happen on my '00 X with the Powerslots & Hawk Pads. Bleed the passenger side first then the drivers side. All should be good. Always start your bleed the furthest from the master cylinder.
