Steering Column

I have a 72 F100 I know a 67-72 steering column will fit but what about 73-79 since they are much easier to find

Yes they will fit. The shift bell changed in '78 and had a trim piece that attached to the bottom of the dash. Up to '77 is the same column as yours.
