Rough clutch moving, need suggestions
Ever since weeks after the delivery, it developed this problem. Pushing or releasing the clutch is rough, not smooth at all. It makes a squeezing sound. The sound and feeling is just like pusing wet fingers against a piece of glass and try to move on the surface. It doesn't do this when just truck started, but comes minutes after starting. When the problem is there, engine running or not doesn't matter, in which gear doesn't matter either.
This affects the driving a lot, since the pedal pops up little by litte, instead of going smoothly.
First visit to the dealership month ago resulted in a change of the slave sylinder/throw out bearing. Report says finding a rough spot on the throw out bearing. It did solve the problem first. But the problem started coming back soon after, and now it's just like before. So I guess it's not or not the only reason for the problem.
I'll make another visit to the dealership and talk to the nice service manager again. But honestly I'm not completely confident on their judgement now. Could any of you guys here give any comments or suggestions on this particular problem? I would like to get myself educated before another talk with the dealership. Maybe they' re simply doing "change this and see" on things. But I sure don't want to visit there every month.
As usual, many thanks here.
