Edge isn't working after recall

I got my truck back from the recall they done on the emissions on Cal models. They said I couldn't register it if not done. I removed my edge attitude/juicer so as not to skyline myself. I ran a tank of fuel just to see the damage the flash did. getting about 15 mpg from 16.5 but i was hauling booty this week so no worries. Today I reinstalled my edge because I want the head snap back. The only thing that worked was the EGT guage. I disconnected everything at least twice to see if I made a mistake. No cahnce. I heard the flash may block from chips. I called Ford and the Serv Tech said no. So now i am at an impass. It worked perfectly before. Now nothing. Any suggestions or remidies?

Call Edge. There have been numerous people with different tuners that are having the same problems. They will have to update your module most likely.

OK, So I called Edge and they were pretty cool. Here is the deal . Evidently Ford did hok something up to block out chips and their codes with the recall. The answer i got is that ford is scrambling to unass their smog ann mileage issues and after market guys suffer the consequences. For another $200.00 if I send in my uniot they will give me a new updated one. That is another $200.00 bucks and if I don't I am out over $800.00. I'd rather be back in Iraq fighting bad guys than dealing with these blood suckers. If you can't download upgrades then why buy it? Any new info out there?

I CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. 45 MINUTES WAIT AND NOT REALLY ANY ANSWER. THEY WILL GIVE ME AN UPDATED UNIT. ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD NOT THE NEW PLATINUM. EVEN IF I PAY MORE NO PLATINUM FOR ME. I THINK THEY ARE CLEARING OUT THE SHELVES OF THE OLDER STUFF. i ASKED THE MANAGER TO CALL BACK. NATURALLY HE(OR SHE) DIDN'T. I REALLY LIKED THE PERFORMANCE OF THAT THING. i RECCOMMEND YOU LOOK AT THE WARRANTY. IF YOU DON'T OPEN IT YOU CAN RETURN IT WITHIN 60 DAYS FULL REFUND. DEFINATELY ASK WHAT VERSION IT IS.
