any one ever thought of putting one of those house windown ac units in the back of your truck window. I guess it could run on like 2 12 volt batteries or something. How awesome would that be. Or just like a litte portable one that can sit in the truck and make it cool. its just that a/c really makes a car over heat in 100 degree weather. Thanks
This is hilarious that you mention that!!! Just last summer I saw a guy who did that exact thing. You gotta remember, those air conditioning units run on 115 volt ac power, so this guy pulls up to the gas pump, fills his tank, then reaches the hose into the back of a topper and fills up his generator. That's when I saw what he was doing He had a generator that ran the a/c unit which was aimed into the back window of his truck cab.

I'm sure it would be very cool, but, God forbid, what would happen to that unit if you were ever to hit something head on--or, more importantly, what would happen to you or your passsenger?
