Thanks guys for the reply on the 2005 nad 06s what I would like to know now is what kind of MPG you all get on the 2005 and 06s. Buddy telling me look at Dodge that they get lot more MPG but so far I have not saw that much proof. So was wondering if you all could help me out Thanks
I have a 2006 w/12,000 miles. In town I get around 13.5 avg., highway mileage 14 to 18 MPG. 14 MPG is @ 90MPH, 17 to 18MPG is @ 65 to 70 MPH. RPM's just under 2000 is where I get the good milage. Towing a 6700 pound boat I get 11 to 12 MPG @ 70 MPH and can see up to 14MPG if I keep it down to 55MPH or so.
There is many variables that affect MPG and you'll see a wide range by those that post. But for what it's worth, I typically get around 17 MPG in mixed driving and normally get 20 MPG on the highway at 75 MPH. Check out my signature for my configuration. I don't drive with a lead foot but I don't drive like an old man either.
By the way, I have a friend that has a late model dodge with a cummins and he complains about his poor MPG. He gets 12-13 MPG but I can't speak as to his driving style.
i have an 06 w/ 4800 mile im getting about 17.3-17.8 mixed with diesel kleen in every tank, and i have a fairly heavy foot. iusualy do around 75-85 on highway..
thanks for the response on the MPG on 06s. Near as I can find out Dodge does not do that much better. Checking into dodge with tow package U have to go a smaller spare. 20" wont fit with the receiver installed. Darn sure don't care for that. be going to the 06 F250 again thanks for help

Do you mean the wheel size or overall tire size?
Thats really bad if you can't have a full size spare with the tow package.
I have a 06' with a six speed and 3.73 gears I have 2700 miles on it now. I have been getting about 15.3 but it steadily improves every time. My driving habits are pretty mild, minimal idle time, and mixed driving. I am trying the motorcraft cetane improver and performance enhancer this tank. I will let you know how that turns out.

Hand figureing mine I get about 20mpg highway. Don't even WANT to know what it is around town. Mine has 7K on the clock, and 3.73 rear gears.
I have an 06 supercab LB and I average 17mpg. It has 52K miles(yes I know its a lot for an 06, It was a fleet vehicle in the state of OH), but its in great condition. Its completly stock, no mods.
I have 2 friends with Dodge's, one's an 03 and the other an 05, and neither of them get better than 17mpg. I have more hp and torque than both of them too.
