Is there a service (free would be good) that checks and rates charities to see if the money you give actually gets spent on what the charity promotes?
I know Christian Children Fund has 90% go directly to the kids.
I have sent one called "Feed the Children" some money and before I allow them to automatically debit my checking I want to know if the money is actually being put to good use.
Or ones that say they build wells for drinking water, I would like to know if they really do built more then 50 a year in poor countries.
Any good internet sources for this information that you use?
