460 swap?
Can anyone tell me the difference in 2x4 and 4x4 frame mounts when switching over to a 460 in my 78 4x4? I've got a 2 wheel drive 79 3/4 ton as a donor truck. It has a strong 460 and a good c6 tranny. If anyone needs a good 3/4 ton rear I will have one in about a week or two. I will also have other parts off of this truck. Any info will greatly appreciated.

what engine do you have? if its a 351m/400 you wont need to change them just buy a set of L+L mounts and your set there.but you will need a oil pan and sump stud bolt to mount the sump and an oil pump. You can get these off a 83 up pickup 460 or an econo line van with a 460 there the same
