Sweet Deal

It's not a Ford, but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. A 1973 Honda CB350 streetbike. Hasn't run in 6 years, but it was running when the guy parked it in a shed. It just needs a tune up and then I'm going to sell it, for hopefully a nice little profit! Then I will spend the money on a Ford, so this is kinda Ford related.

I got it for $75. In the last year I've seen them selling between $800 and a grand. A buddy redid one from the frame up and got $1500. They are extremely cheap to plate and incredible on gas. They are actually in demand, I already have 3 guys interested in this one.
I have a 1980 Honda CM400 that I use for running around with. $13 a month for plates and around 70 miles to the gallon.

Hey Guys

Those little cb200's if they are the same as what I used to have in England are great bikes. I would love to get another one for putting around on. I had a 1961 cb250 in England and would that thing go (I hit the side of a car with it one night) That hurt somewhat.

That`s a cool deal no doubt, I`m sorta looking for one similar. Want to keep it low bucks as for the ride time will be very little.

Hey Guys
Thanks for the welcome
Well you asked about my old fords the one that is my daily driver anyway.
Currently I have sitting around a
49 2 ton grain truck with a siezed flathead
65 f100 with a 300 6 that is not running any more
76 f250 4X4 with a 390 haven't tryied to start that one in a while. I bought this truck from SGI as a write off in 79 fixed it up and drove it until 5 years ago
80 f150 4X4 with a 400 that has a real bad knock in it that is the one that needs motor doing and is on my list for this summer
81 f100 with a 300 thats the daily driver nothing special just a truck
84 f150 4X4 with a 302 that needs a pile of body work thats on my list for this summer also probably for my daughter if she will drive it.
parts trucks 86 f150 81 f150 80 f150 all in various stages of totally broken.
Thats all that I can remember for right now
I'm hoping that maybe you guys can help out with parts when required and questions when I have them so far everyone here has been lots of help.
Have a great day
Duncan

I just found a cb125 in Brandon yesterday. Thinking about getting it for the wife. She wants a small bike to learn on. They don't come much smaller than that.

Hey Guys

Not sure what I am doing with the 76 yet. It is way down on the list of things to repair but I kinda have a bit of a soft spot for that truck as it was the first one built from the frame up in 79 the only original parts on that truck is the right front fender I have changed motors from the original 360 and tore out I dont know how many clutchs plus it used to rip the left front motor mount out about once every 6 months or so. It is ugly but I will have to have a think about selling.
Have a great day

Wecome Duncan, thats quite an inventroy of trucks you have there.

I have had the Goldwing out a couple of times so far this spring and it is running great . I just bought another 78 Goldwing off a buddy of mine for $200.00. He had it all redone last spring and he was riding it to work one morning and a deer ran out of the ditch and hit him. The impact didn't knock him off the bike but it broke the faring and bent the front forks. SGI totalled it and he bought it back with the intentions of fixing it up, but the decided to sell it to me and he is just going to get another bike.
