Looking For Article, Help

Im looking for an article I saw in someones gallery that showed a process of relocating the front wheel opening back an inch or two to help center a front tire in a 53 ford that had been grafted in to far to the rear. Thanks DJ

I kind of remember reading that also. I think it was keith56_cruz_cab who did it to his truck (heck, he's done everything else to it)

I think it was the other way around, the front suspension had been placed too far forwards so he moved the wheel well forwards. The fenders were fiberglass. I can't remember who it was, but we did a lot of corresponding in working with FG prior to tackling it. The stock wheel location is ~ 1 1/2" rearwards of the center of the wheel well opening. When they did the Foose truck they moved the wheel openings forwards as well as stretching the wheelbase.
