Im takin the old y pipe off so I can put a bassani one in it place. I got the 4 nuts off where it hooks to the exhaust manifolds but the drivers side won't pull free, any ideas?
Its mandrel bent so there aren't any kinks in the pipe and I have a '96 which has 2 catalytic converters but the bassani one came with one high flow cat. Also the one cat on the bassani pipe is really small and takes up less room. I don't know if you care about how much things weigh but its also lighter than the stock pipe.
Well I got the hacksaw out and almost cut all the way through the pipe on the drivers side and the whole y pipe fell off. The new y pipe is a lot louder than the stock y pipe. I've been running around with out any muffler with the old pipe but now i'll have to put a muffler on with the new one.
