I have had this truck about a month and all the brakes need changing ! How do you get the brake springs out ! Do i need to squeeze them together and hammer them out or what ? Any info would be helpful since i haven't bought a book for it yet !!! Thanks

When you pick up your book also pick up a drum brake tool. This will make your life a 100 times easier on the drums.

I'm assuming you're talking about the rear. If you don't have a drum brake spring tool, forget about it. You'll kill yourself trying.

What springs are you reffering to? The caliper pistons?

I think he's talking about the spring loaded Push rod " for lack of better disc"

That holds the caliper's in...

If so, I just use a Push bar " in the home repair business it's called a cat's paw" ..... you can use a screw driver or anything....

Make sure it smaller than the hole..... It's hell getting it back out.
