Mid life crisis?
I just turned 40 years old today. Does anyone have an idea for a mid life crisis for a guy on a budget?
Am I even aloud to have a mid life crisis at 40? or do I have to wait a couple more years?

my 40th was just a day. 30yro was my crisis. if you got to 40 you got it whooped 'till God gives ya' hell. you'll be ok rlb. once you leave the 20's it seemes like everything hurts, stinks, is stiff(except for the stuff that should be) and sucks. happy 40 from Nancy & me.

I only wish that I just turned 40....happened several moons ago, for sure.....Mid Life crisis.....Only the good Lord kept me alive....I personally would not want to endure that again....Maybe it doesn't affect all of us the same way.....Good Luck, enjoy.....!

Not to go all gooshy on everyone here, but when I was in my 30's I laughed at the idea of MLC.
Without going into details that would probably just bore everyone to death, it is a phenomonon that caught me by surprise. I just didn't know what hit me.
Anyway, it can be toughed out.
Buying my truck a year and a half ago seemed to help!
Modding it periodically helps more!
I am kinda halfway hoping for a relapse so I can justify a Harley.
Without going into details that would probably just bore everyone to death, it is a phenomonon that caught me by surprise. I just didn't know what hit me.

Happy 40th! I asked for 20 yr old twins, but all I got was a swift kick. 
go figure. I have to go with the "40 was just a day, I had mine at 30" school. 50 was a relief- I'm actually liking my age.

I went full bore into my Elvis career at 41,the only thing I had to worry about then was making it past 42 (the age Elvis retired).
I went until 45 ,so it is possible

The way I do things, I though 20 was going to be my middle age. I doubled it 5 years ago!
It's just a number as far as I can tell but, It could be an excuse for an ATV or a boat!

Well, the way I see it is like this. My grandpa died when he was 69. My dad died when he was 46. I just turned 31 yesterday, and if I average out the two, I'm already beyond midlife. So, too late for me.

I'm not too worried about turning 40. I forget most of the time how old I am anyways. Hope you had a great day!

Turning 50 bothered me. When I turned 50, I did not expect to be a widower with a 3 year old son but here I am at almost 54 and I figure that maybe I have 20 to 25 years of life left....if I'm lucky.
