So, i know they are Chevy's but where in the world does Old Navy get all of their old trucks? I dont know if you have noticed or not but every store has an old blue chevy (48-52 i believe??).
some of these trucks are actually in great condition.. oh well, i guess it isnt that hard, but man, i wish one of these stores went out of business (which they wont) and i could pick up the truck for cheap
When my wife goes to Old Navy I go and look at the Old Truck. I do like it when she goes to a new Old Navy store so I can see a different truck. Some of them are GMC trucks with Chevy badging on the hood. They say General Motors on the dash.

I also have my share of Old Navy Trusk shirts.
abe
i was at my grandparents a couple weeks ago and went into the new old navy with my girlfriend just so i could look at the truck as well..
Hmmm...I don't think I have ever been in an old navy store. There is one a few hours from here in a mall in Missouri. Guess I will have to go into the mall the next time I am up in MO. It won't be top buy stuff, but to see the truck. :P
There's a BBQ restaurant near me that has a late 30's couple ton International flatbead that is used as the salad and drink bar. It seems like its geting popular to have an old truck in your business.
Its probably a good thing that they are not old Fords. Can you imagine trying to explain to mall security why you are removing fender bolts, bumper, vent window, or any other small part......
If there was a Chevy that I would ever own it would be that style.. I'm not a fan of Chevy, but that one looks nice :P
I didn't know those were real trucks, I thought they were fiberglass remakes, just for show.
nope, real trucks.. i noticed that some of them are painted better than others, i think i found one that looked like it was brush painted, like with house paint..lol
Gman,
They sure do. I think all the sheet metal is available in steel and glass, and BeBop's does a cab of that era also.
In my area, when I go to swap meets, I have to walk past 15 Chevy truck vendors to find one guy with Ford truck parts.
There used to be an eating place in Ft Worth with a 50's theme that had a '55 Chevy station wagon with the roof removed and the interior was a stainless salad bar car. Pretty cool, but they went our of business. Headlights and taillights flashed to the music, if I remember correctly.
