Front stage upgrade?
I have a ford f150 Supercrew--- I currently have Boston Acoustics RC820 component speakers in all 4 doors..... Here are the speaker specs and I have the tweets flush mounted high in the door corners:
5 x 7" woofer with AMD
Neo 3r Kortec dome-flush mount tweeter....
Now.... Pushing these speakers I have a Pioneer Avic-D1 head unit and a JL 450/4 amp.
I also have a JL amp 250/1 pushing a 10 inch JL sub.......
Now I want to UPGRADE my front stage sound with better component speakers and replace the front stage Bostons......
The rear Bostons will stay as fill sound.....
I HAVE $600 to spend on a set of comps.... What should I get to have the JL 450/4 push?
I mainly listen to hard rock/ classic rock music
Any thoughts?

Might try looking for some a/d/s components with crossover included. I have a contact of a guy that bought out a lot of their stuff before they went to Orion. He was one of the engineers for a/d/s. Anyways one pair of these speakers retailed at $2499, he sells them around $250 a pair plus shipping.
If you don't want to go that route, Focal is pretty good and so is Silver Flute. They're a bit pricey but I think they fall under your $600 budget.
