88 - Thanks and another problem
Well, we finally got the truck running good, it had 6 bent intake push rods, we put new ones, and new fuel cannister, new pump and it is running great, thanks for all the help. We now have another problem. In the mornings, it has a dead miss, it goes away once it warms up, after driving around the neiborhood a few minutes. This morning when I was spiining it overe to start it, i cranked a second, then backfired and started up, with the same miss. Any suggestions? Again THX!

well it might be timing, if that hasn't been looked at recently, which would explain the backfire.
If it weren't for the backfire I would've said vacuum. When the lines get warm they swell and then it'll pull better. Run through and check the vacuum, that's my first guess.
