V-10 Superchips or other Programmers
Hello All,
As some of you may know, I have a 99 V10 Regular Cab and I am looking to increase the throttle response and power of the engine. I have 116000 miles on it now so Im not interested in sporting a supercharger at this point. In the future, planned upgrades are headers, y-pipe, and Gibson cat-back exhaust. However, I need to know if any of you are using a programmer, what brand, and has it been worth the money? Did you see power gain from it after using it or is it a waste of money? Thanks guys.

I have an SCT Xcalibrator2 (XCal2) with three custom programs...

So far I've just used the 87 tune and yes, it does make a difference. It has better (quicker) throttle response and shifts smoother. I've had it installed for about a month, so not too much experience yet. But so far, so good!

sct xcal 2 for me also.i have tryed them all and found for a ford sct is the best and proved it on a dyno.
go into www.sctflash.com use your zip code to find a dealer near you to sell you a custom tuned one .just incase you want to emprove some of the points.
i see your in pa how close to nj ? as i have a buddy who is a dealer in sussex county
