Oh Ya Chuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 pics of the Dart and only one of the Falcon.
What's the matter Chuck? You can't talk Bam Bam into loading the Falcon in his truck & I'll pay you for it when you get back? Sheeesh!!!!!!!!
That's one way to shut me up. The other would be at least 2 (two) free t-shirts (large please and thank you).

I tried today & he all of a sudden stopped talking. I just don't get it!!!!!! The darn trailer is fifty-three feet long & a Falcon is only what, 17'. How difficult can this be?

So, does this mean there will be a Fairlane for sale soon? or are we going to be invited to a garage building weekend to house the BDC Car Collector Inventory?

Al, does the Pinto Forum have a thread about installing an FE in a Pinto wagon?? Might defeat your quest for fuel economy but it would be fun!

Chuck

I see from another post you made it back. I'm coming back from the Carolina's and I'm curious if you ran into the same thing as I did at gas stations. The pump at some places wouldn't let me fill up completely. At one place it shut off at $75 and $50 at another. Never seen this before.

I remember reading something about they do that so people don't steal gas. You have to pay before you can pump more than that. So if you are using a credit card it will have to be 2 transactions if you need more than what they allow.

Matt,

I think whoever came up with that policy should check themselves into a psych ward, that's paranoia to the extreme.

So does this mean that they don't have the bullet proof glass in the Florida gas bars like they did in the 80's when I was there?
Pay Before You Pump required you to put the cash in a sliding drawer before the attendant would turn on the pump.
Now, exactly what would the attendant do if some loonie dropped a stick of dynamite in that drawer?
I have seen the "Sale Limit" here in Scarborough at the Loblaws gas bar @ V.P. & Gerrard. ............They"s paranoid too man !!!!!!!

yes i did have that very problem , every station we stopped at for fuel the pump would only give out $75.00 , it was some limit because we were paying on the master card, it may sound a bit funny but we also got caught in a small rest stop town , that had 1 diesel pump that sold fuel for $3.59 a gallon , when we got back on the hiway the first station we passed was at $2.79 a gallon ,

boss hogg must still be alive...

It only happened to me twice, once in South Carolina where the pump stopped at $75 and once in West Virginia where it stopped at $50. Luckily I had my buddy from North Carolina with me so I didn't go in asking stupid questions.

I thought the whole reason they went to the pay at the pump was so there were no issues over payment. My Buddy says they ask for authorization from the Credit Card company but my card has a $13000 limit and I wasn't even close.

Coming Around To Full Circle...

Check List:
Map Book,
Nevada/Utah folding map,
Las Vegas Vicinity guide map,
Travellers cheques,
Boss on the edge of his seat wondering when I'm leaving,
1 order for 2 rear `90 Crew Cab doors,
All dressed up & not knowing when I'm going,
Full supply of native smokes,
Need 1 truck with 2 car trailer and driver.
I certainly hope this whole plan comes together because I KNOW the Ranger won't like being the mule again.
AL.
P.S. ... Anybody seen Chuck?????????????
