Stock Wheel Width?

I have 05 F-250 FX4 with 17" wheels. What is the Width? What is the largest tire that I can run safely?

I believe you have 8" rims, not sure. That info is on the information sticker on the drivers door post. It's up to you as to what size tires you run. You can use tire makers recommedations or like me go as big as is safe.

The stock 17" wheels are 7.5" wide. You can run a 285/70R17 (32.9") tire.
