Airconditioner

I have an 87 150 5.0 It is retrofitted to 134. My prob is the compresser cycles on and off very fast. I unpluged the cycle switch from the dryer and connected the two leads together. The compressor stays on when I do that and the a/c line gets frost on it up to a certian point. Somebody told me it is a orfice tube. I tried taking it apart but I can't figure out how to take that damn tube apart. If I just take it somewhere is this a cheap fix? Please help. I live in Texas and it's HOT! Thank you.

It wont take anymore freon. There is a clog. I just need to know how to take out the orfice valve.

Air conditioner forum will have more information:

http://www.autoacforum.com/

You need a vacuum pump and a set of manifold gauges at least to do it right. Otherwise it will fail in short order again and be even more expensive.
