I looking to purchase some new tires and wheel for my 93 f250 7.5l. 37-38" the problem im having is finding a smaller rim I don't want anything bigger than 17" with a good back spacing less than 4 1/4" with an 8 lug 6.5" bolt pattern. The tires i am looking at are radials I really like the mud terrains k/o's but something comparable would be fine. The hardest part is finding the rims any help would be great.
do you want to buy a used set of 16.5x12 wheels with 4 used 38" Gateway Gumbo Monster Mudder radials?
You need to look for 16.5 x 12 wheels. Check out the super swamper tsl and the super swamper trxus in the 38" radial sizes . (tsl is better for mud, trxus is better for road, snow and sand)
How much lift is on your truck? Have you done any fender trimming?
I have swamper tsl radials now and I don't know how old they are but the are just falling apart. I have a 6" lift and have done any triming I was planning on putting spacers on the front bumper to get me a little extra clearance. I just rub on the front leaf springs a little more than I would like and my tires don't even stick out of the fenders now so I know a better offset would help that a little. I will definetly check out the trxus and the rims.
