Lead Foot

I kindof have a lead foot when it comes to driving, i like power and i seem to take my revs up too 3000 quite often, am i pushing it too hard or can these engines take it, anyone else drive like me.

I have a lead foot to! I'm sure you'll find a few of us on here! I wonder the same thing but i still can't help lettin the old stacks bark and the turbo sing its beautiful song every once and a while (about 5 times a day lol)

the engine itself is designed to run at 3400 rpm constantly all day long with no problems other than fuel consumption. what you would need to worry about is the transmission, that is if you have an automatic and you are revving it that high without the torque converter being locked.
