Vibration problem. . . Need advice
I got a 98 150 4.2 V6 that hyrolocked on me, so I got a remaned and I put everthing together and got it back in and everything is running great. But there is a slight vibration that you can feel in the drivers seat while the motor is at an idle. Everything sounds good but the slight vibration has me worried. The only thing I can see is that the crankshaft pully that runs the belt is bent slightly. I know that the crank isnt bent because the balancer that the pully bolts on to runs true. I just dont think that that little belt pully being bent a little bit would make the whole engine vibrate like that. I was wondering if that motor is out if time slightly to cause that. If you guys I have any suggestions or have had a similar problem I would love to hear because I have run out of ideas. Thanks a TON!!!
