Removal

takin off the fenders on my 77 f100 is not easy...i cant get to some of the bolts...any tips? i need to replace both of them and the grille

They are assembled with the bolts from the inside out. You need to remove the fender liner for access. The tough one is above the side marker light. Last time I think I removed that light to see inside. A long extension is necessary.

Iv been wondering if the bolts can be reversed (outside in) for easer re-assembly.

i already took out the liner...i took out all the bolts at the top and the ones on thes inside of the wheel well...i think the ones craigster1 is talkin about are the ones i cant find

Looking at the grill, where it is attached to the fender, you can see the end of the bolts holding them together. If you have those all out, there are two more holding the fender. One is inside the doorjamb, with the door open you will see it about even with the bottom hinge. The second one is underneath on the bottom rear corner of the fender, you will have to lie on the floor to see it.

If this thread gets Mil1ons attention, he may have a diagram.

thats even more helpful thanks a lot...ill get to lookin at them tomorrow after school...im too tired from today to do it
